Police officers put themselves at risk each day and collateral damage can be a reality that they deal with day-to-day. While police officers are frequently killed in the line of duty, it’s very rare that a police officer is killed by one of their own. What started out at a routine 911 report ended with a police officer bleeding on the ground and another one holding the weapon.
