However, no matter how well she integrates into my adopted community Akiko knows she is different and unique. Pupils are naturally curious about her; this makes it a perfect platform for her to teach Geography. Pupils in Akiko’s care will leave the school with a better understanding of how the world works. They will leave with the depth and breadth of knowledge; understanding and skills which will open doors to fulfil their ambitions and to serve others.
