On April 22, 2012, several residents living in a quiet neighborhood located in North Bend, Washington, called 911 after seeing flames coming out of the windows of a neighboring home. Thankfully firefighters arrived on the scene and were able to put out the fire quickly. But when they took a closer look at the remnants of the house, they would make a gruesome discovery - two bodies, untouched by the fire but both shot in the head. They belonged to 41-year-old Lynnette Keller, and her 19-year-old daughter, Kaylene.  Missing from the residence was the patriarch of the house, 41-year-old Peter Keller. Investigators weren’t immediately sure if he was missing or in danger - but things became much clearer when they discovered a hard drive in the home containing hours of Peter’s vlog footage. What was featured in these videos would shock even the most seasoned of investigators, launching a SWAT search for an underground bunker police believed was connected to Peter and the fire. On Easter Sunday, 1991, a gas station in Bloomington, Illinois would be robbed at gunpoint. Tragically, Billy Little, the attendant working that night, would be killed - shot to death for the money in his cash register. Investigators collected evidence from the crime scene including fingerprints, shoe prints and even a DNA sample, but they struggled for years to nail down who the armed robber was. It wasn’t until 8 years later that a witness would pick out a man named Jamie Snow from a lineup. Jamie was a person the police had their eye on from the beginning, but the witness had previously failed to pick him out from photos and lineups. Now that this witness pointed at Jamie Snow, the police moved in on an arrest.  However, Jamie denied robbing the gas station and killing the attendant. He said he was at home eating dinner with his children at the time of the crime. Despite Jamie having an alibi and passing a polygraph test, the police found no evidence to connect him to the crime scene and an eye witness that only pointed at Jamie 8 years later, Jamie Snow would be tried and convicted. The date was May 19, 1971. A Japanese peach farmer was perusing his orchard, located in Yuba City, California. Suddenly, he spotted something unusual. A large seven-foot-long hole, that was approximately half a foot deep, which looked like an improvised dug-out gravesite. His was private property, no one was supposed to be digging on his land. Without any witnesses to report the purpose of this large hole, he decided to return the following day to see if it was still there. When he returned to the orchard the next afternoon, this large hole had been filled in. Someone had returned and it appeared as if something had been buried - so the peach farmer called the authorities to investigate. What the police would uncover would spark an investigation into the worst-known serial killer in the U.S. at the time - but few know his name today: Juan Corona. On June 23rd, 2021, 24-year-old Daniel Robinson was enjoying his dream job working for an engineering company at a remote job site in an Arizona desert. It was raining that morning, so he and his co-worker would have to wait for the weather to clear up before they could start. For some unknown reason, Daniel decided not to wait. He got into his 2017 blue-grey Jeep Renegade and took off - never to be seen again. About a month later, his vehicle would be found wrecked in a ravine only a few miles away from his work site. Inside was his wallet, laptop, cell phone, and a whole case of bottled water - but no sign of Daniel. The police would conclude this to be a missing person’s case - nothing criminal, but after hiring a vehicle collision expert who reported the jeep had been moved after the crash, Daniel’s father believes a crime may have occurred.
