Frances Apperson left to meet some family for a hike up near Linville Gorge on May 17, 2022. But she never made it. On May 30th, her car was found at the Linville Gorge parking lot, and one of her angels that she kept in her car was found down one of the trails. There was no sign of 67-year-old Frances.
