It was so exciting to finally sit down one-on-one with Emily and Hannah, health and fitness influencers and ladies behind my favourite run club We Are Runners. I have them to thank for getting through my gruesome training runs for my London Marathon debut last year!We talk all things nutrition, life balance, extreme ultra marathons through deserts and – of course – our love of food!We delve into Hannah’s experience running 250km through the Jordanian desert last year (gulp!) as well as their love of ultra marathons and why and how they tackle them. I got to sit down with Kish Kash, a cultural archivist and all-round cool dude about town. He owns the largest sneaker collection I’ve ever seen and loves his food just as much as I do.He came over to mine for cake and chats; we discussed all things sneakers, streetwear, food and restaurants and he even had the cheek to try and get me to cook for him afterwards!We delve into Kish Kash’s childhood growing up in an Indian family outside of London and how music and football provided a huge inspiration for him as a young boy. In this episode, I get to hear all about how she got to where she is now, her work as an ambassador with UN Women, running the London Marathon in her underwear(!) and I was even introduced to her secret cupboard of chocolate and crisps!We spoke about the challenges faced with social media, Instagram and how she deals with photo retouching.
