Welcome to the "Memorizing Tarot Cards" podcast, your three-minute lessons on learning and memorizing each card using symbolism. I use the Rider Waite Tarot if you would like to view the card while you listen using your own Tarot card deck or a computer. Today, we're exploring the King of Pentacles, focusing on reversals. First, let's start with the divine meaning of the card and then the meaning when reversed.

The King of Pentacles upright is a figure of success, wealth, and stability. He represents the ability to build a solid foundation, create abundance, and lead others with wisdom and generosity.

When reversed, this card suggests that you may be handling power, finances, or responsibilities in an imbalanced way. You might be overly focused on material success, neglecting other important aspects of life, or struggling to maintain control. The reversed King of Pentacles can indicate a misuse of resources or a lack of integrity in handling wealth or authority.

Next, let's talk about how to read the King of Pentacles reversed in a reading. When the King of Pentacles reversed appears in a reading, it's often a sign that you must reevaluate your relationship with success and money. This card encourages you to balance building wealth and maintaining personal integrity and well-being. It may also suggest that you need help with leadership or control. If you're in a position of authority, the reversed King of Pentacles asks you to consider whether you're being too rigid or controlling in your approach. This card suggests that loosening your grip on control could lead to better outcomes and relationships that are more harmonious. Let's talk about ways to memorize the King of Pentacles Reversed.

I find it helpful to think of a situation in my life that I can tie to the card. For example, my reversed King of Pentacles moment has been recently. I have learned how much I need control over my environment. My home falls under management of resources, and we enjoy the tranquility of a rural setting and the quiet nature of our home. There are just the two of us, and we do not have cable TV in the house. We sit down occasionally to watch a movie together on Netflix or Amazon Prime. Our home is quiet. This summer, we have had three rounds of company back to back, over five and a half weeks. And truthfully, it has been wonderful. Friends and family that we love have been joining us in our space, and we have been dining together, sightseeing, and visiting. As I write this, we are at the end of a three-week visit with my husband's family from Germany. They are lovely, and we have had a lot of fun together. However, I have found myself in a King of Pentacles reversed because I cannot get a plan nailed down with this group. I have had to manage my need to control the plan and be flexible around meals and non-stop noise. I don't need to control this group, but as the weeks have progressed, I am improving at turning my King of Pentacles upright, as it has been a pleasure to be with them. However, when I am hungry and can't reach a consensus, I need to manage my stress and remind myself that I will not starve if we wait.

This card reminds us that letting go of control and going with the flow will lead to better outcomes. Of course, to memorize tarot, keep practicing tarot. As you listen to these three-minute lessons, you will consistently remember the symbolism that applies across different cards in the deck. Thank you for listening. Mastering Tarot Two of Wands in Just Minutes

Two of Wands Welcome to my Memorizing Tarot Card Audio Podcast, where I discuss strategies to learn and memorize tarot cards.  Today's episode is your three-minute lesson on the Two of Wands. Why an audio course =================The purpose of this audio podcast is to help reinforce key messages by audio, while you clean, exercise, mow your lawn, or drive great distances. There is no charge for this content, and it is intended to provide short, snappy microlearning to help beginners keep practicing and reinforcing the learning. The best way to learn tarot cards, is to keep practicing working with the cards. Rider Waite Tarot Card Deck=======================I learned how to read cards on the Rider Waite Tarot Deck and the instructor I had said its easiest to have everyone on the same deck when explaining the symbolism. With time, I was able to transfer that knowledge to other decks. If you are a beginner at learning tarot, below are some links to the Rider Waite Tarot Deck to follow along if you need a set of cards. I took a two and a half day course, and I was so excited to be able to take the mystery out of getting readings done for myself, and to be able to do them myself. We also have social media channels, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and all major podcast distributors such as Spotify, Apple, Audible and many others under the handle @quickLearnQuests. I am focusing mostly on my podcasts and YouTube at the moment, but I will expand into more social media more consistently when I find my feet.  Here is the transcript:Welcome to the "Memorizing Tarot Cards" podcast, your three-minute lessons to learning and memorizing each card using symbolism instead of fluff. I use the Rider Wait Tarot if you listen and watch episodes with your own deck. Today, we are diving into the meaning behind the two of wands. We will start with a simple breakdown of the suit and number. The second part will dig into more symbolism to help you look at this card and tell a story. First, let's start with the suit and number. The suit of wands represents fire and passion within us. Examples are creative projects and ideas, new hope, recognition of potential, and motivation. Wands are structured like a deck of playing cards and has cards numbered one to ten. The ace is a new beginning, and card two is the second step which represents planning and making decisions or choices. Putting it together, the Two of Wands is about planning your next step on a project you are passionate about, and making plans and decisions. Next, let's take the symbolism a step further. In the Rider Wait deck, the Two of Wands has a person with a globe in one hand and a wand in the other. The globe implies influence and opportunities. the wands are up straight and sturdy. representing solid foundation of achievements. The ground beneath the person is solid. The landscape is full of abundance. Water, land, and the mountains. The path ahead shows a journey with ups and downs that may take some endurance. The astrology associated with the Two of Wands is Aries. The Aries traits connected to this card are assertive action, a pioneering spirit, and there may be some impatience. Now that we have covered the basics, symbolism, and even a bit of astrology, how do we apply this card to a reading? Looking solely at this card, you would take its meaning and apply it to the meaning of the position in the spread. For example, in the past position, you can explain that in the past, the person changed directions, started something new they are excited about, and are making plans and decisions around how to move it ahead. How did I memorize the Two of Wands? Instead of memorizing the card itself, I memorized the symbols, numbers and suits and kept practicing. For the Two of Wands, I memorized that all the number two cards are the second step in the journey, which is planning and decisions. Knowing what the two means helps me interpret a piece of five different cards. I memorized that wands are journeys around things that come from passion and fire, not logic. This is a trait of all fourteen wands cards. Wands is a situation that involves creativity, excitement, and bold action. And repetition. As you listen to these three-minute lessons, you will have consistent reminders of symbolism that apply across different cards in the deck. Thank you for listening. I use the Rider Wait Tarot if you listen and watch episodes with your own deck. Today, we're dissecting the Ace of Wands. We will start with a simple breakdown of the suit and number. The second part will dig into more symbolism to help you look at this card and tell a story.First, lets start with the suit and number. The suit of wands represents fire and passion within us. So, more "feeling things" rather than "thinking things."Creativity, ideas, action, hope, potential, and motivation are examples. These all come from fire and passion within us. The number one, or Aces, represents the start of something new or a first step. Putting it together, the Ace of Wands can suggest a new idea, a new feeling, taking a first step, a new beginning, a new sense of hope, or motivation to start a new project. Next, let's take the symbolism a step further to help you memorize the meaning of this card when you see it. The sprouting leaves on the Ace of Wands can symbolize the new growth and potential of this new beginning. The hand emerging from the cloud holding the wand can represent grabbing hold of this new beginning and taking action. The landscape in the card's background shows a rugged surface and mountains in the distance, implying a journey with ups and downs that may take some endurance. Next, lets cover the astrology associated with this card. The Ace of Wands represents the sign of Aries. The Aries traits connected with this card are ambition, action, and their pioneering spirit. Now that we have covered the basics, symbolism and even a bit of astrology, how do we apply this knowledge to a reading? Well, looking solely at this card, you would take the meaning and apply it to the meaning of the position in the spread. For example, in the past position, you can say that the current situation is influenced by a new journey that you started in the past that is now getting traction. Here's another example. In the opportunities position, an Ace of Wands may suggest that it's time to jump into something new that you are more passionate about. So how did I memorize the Ace of Wands? Truly, instead of memorizing the card, I memorized the symbols and kept practicing. For the Ace of Wands, instead of memorizing the cards, I memorized the meaning of the number one, which is new beginnings. There are five number ones in the deck. Knowing what one means helps me remember a key piece of five different cards. I memorized that wands are feeling things, like your fire and passion. This is a key trait of fourteen different cards. And repetition. As you listen to these three minute lessons, you will have the consistent reminders of symbolism that apply across different cards in the deck.Thank you for listening.
