This week on The Mojo Podcast we talk about how to have a radically different relationship with money.

My guest this week has done just that. Born in Nigeria, a migrant to the UK as a teenager - Ken Okoroafor grew up seeing his parents struggling day in day out just to get by. This experience drove him on to seek a new path.

We talk about how Ken used education as his launchpad, and how he beat the odds to gain his accountancy qualifications leading to a top City investment job.
But this wasn't the path forever - it was part of a wider vision that aligned more to his and his wife's Mary values and true purpose in life. First, to be financially independent themselves and then to help as many families as possible to also achieve this seemingly unobtainable goal.

So this year he quit the big job and now runs The Humble Penny full time - a personal finance platform with the mission of helping its audience create financial independence and money joy in their lives.

Ken shares how he and his wife are true business partners, each bringing their own skills and knowledge to their platform which has just hit 1 million You Tube views. It's amazing what you can do with 2 hours per day.

Ken also shares their next project - a seriously big and audacious goal to help 10,000 families reach financial independence with the help of their newly launched community - The Financial Joy Academy
