According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), suicide is the third leading cause of death for black males, ages 15-24. Suicide rates have doubled among black men since 1980. 121 Americans die by suicide each day, according to the Centers for Disease Control — and 93 of them are men.
