Recently, before Christmas, the New Jersey Devils decided to extend Mackenzie Blackwood's contract. I personally think this is a good move due to Blackwood being a black horse type of player. He's a diamond in the rough, due to his defense not being able to back him up properly. Also, with the guidance and mentorship with a former champion in Corey Crawford, the sky's the limit.
