Jack Hughes suffered a gruesome-looking injury in the previous game. While he looked to be in severe pain, his injury might not be as bad as we thought. We still don't know the severity, but he might not be ruled out for the remainder of the season. In addition to the New Jersey Devils being shutout by the Vegas Golden Knights, their star player, Jack Hughes, suffered another gruesome injury. He crashed into the boards late in the third period and immediately grabbed his arm/shoulder area. We still don't know the severity of the injury, but he may have reaggravated his right shoulder. Last month, Pierre LeBrun reported that the New Jersey Devils are interested in Montreal Canadiens' forward Jake Evans. He would be a solid addition to the Devils lineup since they're searching for more depth assets. Evans is in the final year of his three-year, $5.1 million contract.
