Tarik El-Bashir (NHL Network, TNT, & The Athletic) accompanied me on today's special episode to discuss the Washington Capitals and how they stack up in the Metropolitan Division. He reflected on the Capitals' injury-plagued season and what's next in their overall development. Of course, we talked about former Capital, now current Devil, Vitek Vanecek. One of the most memorable games from the 2022-23 season for the Devils was game 82 against the Capitals. The Devils were 3-1 against them. The Caps finished sixth in the Metro.
