The New Jersey Devils have now set their 23-man roster for opening night. There weren't that many surprising moves but still a lot of speculation in regards to Simon Nemec. Jesper Bratt and Brendan Smith shared their thoughts heading into the new year. One of the biggest announcements recently made was that Connor Hellebuyck signed a seven-year extension to remain in Winnipeg. During the offseason, he said one of his preferred destinations was New Jersey.
