In back-to-back outings, Nico Daws was strong in the net. However, the New Jersey Devils still got shutout by the Boston Bruins. It seemed as though the Devils had little to no energy to begin the game, and it cost them. Brendan Smith got hurt in the first period and didn't return to action. Devils might be down another player.
