The New Jersey Devils' prayers have been answered: Lindy Ruff was relieved of his head coaching duties yesterday. Travis Green was named interim head coach. Obviously, a drastic move was necessary given how disappointing this season has gone for New Jersey. But Tom Fitzgerald might've waited a little too long to finally make a big move. The Devils' playoff chances are still possible, but unlikely.
