New Jersey Devils Went Back to Their Old Ways Against The Ottawa Senators...Playoffs Chances Are Improbable

After getting off to better starts in their past three games, the New Jersey Devils returned to Earth against the Ottawa Senators. The Devils once again allowed the opening goal (while the Sens were shorthanded nonetheless) and got off to a plodding start. Despite a strong start to the second, the Devils failed to maintain their momentum. Their playoff chances are less likely considering the circumstances.
