New Jersey Devils Have Officially Been Eliminated From Playoff Contention...Things Continue to Get Worse

From Jack Hughes now scheduled to get shoulder surgery to now being mathematically eliminated from playoff contention, it's been a rough few days for the New Jersey Devils. They lost their more recent matchup to the Toronto Maples Leafs 5-2. The Devils had a 2-1 lead at one point but allowed the Maple Leafs to score four unanswered goals. This game highlighted the Devils' continued flaws all season long.
