The Devils are trying to fix their goaltending issue...for the possible future by signing Swiss goaltender, Akira Schmid to a three year entry level deal. He had a great year this past season for the Sioux City Musketeers (USHL), and he also played for the Omaha Lancers. I like this signing and I believe he will be a great add for our AHL program, and possibly our NHL team. Also, remember the New York Devils (Islanders) are currently competing in the playoffs and Kyle Palmieri had a great game.
