Podcast 462: All About Choppers and the Roost

This week on our motorcycle podcast we are talking about choppers. In fact, the chopper scene is alive a kicking in Japan, and our guests Will and Matt have captured it on film to share with the world. Their film, The Roost, interviews the builders, racers, painters and riders and delves into the scene and community, and captures the essence of what makes choppers so cool. We highly recommend checking it our here: https://www.theroostjapan.com/watch
But it doesn't stop there. The Japanese are also responsible for one of the most interesting custom bike scenes called the Bosozoku. We try to explain what it's about and how it came about.
Next up, Emma gives us a History Hole on the origins of choppers, and how the name came to be. Then Bagel shares with us the history of the chopper scooters, which in many ways mirrors the motorcycle chopper scene. And of course Liza throws in a game, Jeopardy style, all about choppers.
With Liza, Miss Emma, Bagel and Brandon.
