Ep 227: The Three Biggest Problems In Relationships And How To Solve Them!

Ep 227: The Three Biggest Problems In Relationships And How To Solve Them!

Start Your Transformation Now This is a very special and also powerful episode. As you’ll hear I am interviewing Dr. Laurie Emery, PysD. Dr. Emery is a coveted relationship expert, transformational coach, and also a former coach of mine. Her primary expertise and zone of genius is “Transformational Relationship Coaching.” Candidly, I’d not even be doing this podcast had I not met her many years ago. She changed my life and when you listen to this episode carefully and over and over, you’ll find solid guidance that can completely shift your relationship with yourself and others. What was just said in the last sentence is vital to a healthy personal relationship because your marriage, personal and intimate relationships are only as healthy as your relationship with yourself. In this episode, we specifically talk about the three biggest problems in relationships and according to Dr. Emery these three things are: A lack of intimacy A lack of responsibility A lack of commitment In the headline, I talk about the three biggest problems in relationships and how to solve them, but solving them isn’t as task/process-focused as most people might think. The solutions to the biggest problems come from our self-growth and us focusing on our own personal evolvement without us simply expecting our partner to change. Like I said, in my opinion, this is an exceptional episode. Transformational Takeaway: To transform our relationships we first must transform our relationship with ourselves. Ep 2: Who Are You And What Is Your Identity?

Ep 2: Who Are You And What Is Your Identity?

Start Your Transformation Now In this episode we look at your identity and why you do what you do. You’ll learn that it doesn’t matter what you think you want and it doesn’t matter what you do because you only create in life what you are. Your identity is created from experiences in your life, then you create an interpretation from those experiences and then you tell yourself a story about it for the rest of your life. So, in order to change your identity, you must first ask “What would be the identity of someone who already has what I want?” Look for someone who already has what you want. Listen to the entire episode to learn about changing your identity! In this episode I discuss: How your identity is formed when you’re a small child How you have created an identity loop and it’s keeping you stuck How to determine what identity you have (hint look at your environment) Discovering your internal barometer What identity do you want? How do you get it? Transformational Takeaway: What identity would I need to have to create _____ in my life? Let's Connect:  Instagram Facebook YouTube LinkedIn  LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 1: Transforming Your Life From The Inside Out

Ep 1: Transforming Your Life From The Inside Out

Start Your Transformation Now In this episode you'll discover why you’ve worked really hard, put in all the effort, the hours, the blood sweat and tears and you’re still not getting the results you want. If you’re like most people you are working backwards—working from the “have do be” model. If I had the money then I could hire someone and grow my business. This is a broken model! The model that you want to start working from is what I call “be do have” model. “Who or how do I have to be to do the things that I choose to do to have the success that I want?” In this episode I discuss: Are you working from an identity that sabotages you? How perfectionism didn’t stop me from getting this podcast out How most people are working backwards The “be do have” model (if you’re not using this, you’re sabotaging yourself!) Why people are setting goals in the wrong way The reason you haven’t created what you want to create in life Who are you really? Where were you before you landed on this planet? A powerful question to start asking yourself Transformational Takeaway: What am I committed to and how or who do I have to be to achieve _____?
