Ep 258: What is my message?

Ep 258: What is my message?

Start Your Transformation Now Every single thing you do is a “message.” Of course, it’s a behavior too, but beyond that, it’s a message as to who you are and how you think.  And, who you think you are is your identity.  The focus of this episode is about the imprint or lack thereof that you’re going to leave in and on the world.  When you think of MLK what do you think of? Who do you think he was? What was his subconscious identity?  Look at MLK. We know his analytical message, but what was his “message?”  Everyone has and carries a message, and what is yours? Your life in itself is a message and what does your message say?  In my opinion, the most powerful message you can share and live is a message of service to others.  When we serve others and do it at the highest measure of ourselves then something magical happens.  If you look at many of the great and most impactful people of the last 100 years, the majority became known that way because of the footprint they left on humanity. What would your subconscious identity be if you served at your highest ability? How would you think, feel and act? Who is that person who lives their life in service to others? What does that say about them?  Transformational Takeaway: If you lived your life in service to others, what would be the identity of that person, meaning your identity? Ep 257: Your Identity Confirms Itself

Ep 257: Your Identity Confirms Itself

Start Your Transformation Now Have you ever fully realized that your primary relationships are a reflection of you? The title of this episode is “Your Identity Confirms Itself” and it does that by moving you into relationships that confirm who you think you are. Let me give you the best example to demonstrate that we engage in relationships that confirm who we are. Let’s say that someone believes they are not worth a whole lot and they hold and have low self-value. As a result, they will seek to be in relationships that confirm this low self-value. An example is this: Ever seen someone in an abusive relationship? And, then after some time they leave the relationship, and you think, “Wow, I’m so glad they got out of that bad relationship.” And…a few months later, you hear they are back in a relationship, and someone says, “I don’t get it, this new person is as bad to them as the last person.” Why does this happen? It happens because our relationships confirm to us who we think we are, and the point of this episode is to take it one step further and have you look at your own relationship alignments. A person who thinks they are not worth a lot and deserves abuse will attract someone who does not value others a lot and abuses them. The abused attract abusers and abusers attract those who want to be abused. Why? Two aligned identities. One person sees themself as valueless and the other sees people as valueless and together, they are the perfect match. So, in your own life…the more aligned the identities in your closet relationships, the stronger and better the relationship will be. You may not be in an abusive relationship, but you do the exact same behavior in areas of your own life. If you want better relationships, further explore your own identity and your values and engage in relationships that support your own self-value. Transformational Takeaway: Your relationships will only be as strong as the alignment of identities. Let's Connect:  Instagram Facebook YouTube LinkedIn  LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 256: How Your Identity Is A Self-Fulfilling Prophecy

Ep 256: How Your Identity Is A Self-Fulfilling Prophecy

Start Your Transformation Now We’ve all heard it a bazillion times from our parents,”Live up to your potential.”  How often do you think, “I could do so much more in life? I could be more. I could have more, but for some reason, something stops me. No matter what I do, I keep failing and falling short of what I want.”  Many of us can relate to the above.  As a kid, my parents often berated me for not living up to my potential. I often got in trouble for my grades in math. I made As and Bs in all my other subjects, but I struggled with math. My dad often chastised me for not “living up to my potential” in math and school.  Well, as I talk about in this episode, it had nothing to do with my intelligence or potential. My challenges in school were related to my subconscious identity.  And, it does not matter if it’s school, our body, health, money, or relationships…all of these life areas are bound not by our potential but by our self-image.  You have the potential to pretty much have anything you want in life, and if you don’t have it, it’s not because you’re not good enough, smart enough, or whatever, it’s because it’s not in your subconscious identity. If you want more in life, you must be more subconsciously.  However you “see yourself” subconsciously, rest assured that will play out over and over in your life like a self-fulfilling prophecy unless you change your mental programming.  Transformational Takeaway: Before you can have whatever you want in your life, you must first have it in your mind. Ep 255: Do You Value Your Value?

Ep 255: Do You Value Your Value?

Start Your Transformation Now In this episode I share a story about Sam Wolf and Phillip Phillips. Sam came in 5th place on American Idol, and Phillip came in 1st. They both have an extraordinary voice. One won the show, the other did not. How come? Of course there are many reasons, but one of the main reasons is how they saw themselves inside…Their self image. This demonstrates a point that I’ll be talking about on a future episode and that point is this: It’s not a matter of living up to your potential, like our parents drill in our heads. It’s a matter of living up to a higher identity for ourselves. Our lives match our internal identity, and we can never out perform our subconscious identity. You may already know that, but in this episode I talk about what you create, the value you create and how much you value your value. Notice the statement, “Valve your value.” That single concept is hugely overlooked and one that keeps a lot, if not most people, poor. The greater your value in yourself and for yourself, the greater your prosperity will be in life. For decades I did what most of us do. I did not have a high degree of value for myself, my work and my gifts. And, as a result I sold myself short and lived as a “just enougher.” What that means is I lived my life with just enough to cover all my bills and a little left over, but I was in no way getting ahead in life. Years back I realized how I was selling myself short, but it wasn’t my fault. I learned to do that. I learned to have low self esteem, self value and self worth, and as a result, I did not “value my value.” When we value our value, that can change our life. Transformational Takeaway: Like me, Sam Wolf or Mother Theresa, we get in life what we create, and what we create comes from the degree to which we value our value. Ep 254: The Patterns Of Your Life

Ep 254: The Patterns Of Your Life

Start Your Transformation Now Here’s Part Three of the Identity Podcast Series.  So, we’ve talked about two fundamental questions: 1. Who are you and 2. What makes you matter?  Next, the question for this week. That question is: What Are The Patterns Of Your Life?  We tend to get into our heads and we always think about what we think, especially as it relates to our identity but what we often never do is look at our patterns.  We often agonize over “who we are.” But, it’s really an easy question to answer. When you look at your behaviors, that is exactly who you are when it comes to 3D identity.  Now, of course, you are not the behavior but you are the doer of the behavior and that comes from your identity.  In NLP, Neuro-Linguistic Programming there is a powerful acronym, it’s BMIR. It stands for a Behavioral Manifestation of an Internal Representation.  That means…all your behavior comes from somewhere and that somewhere is internal, meaning, your identity. Behavioral Manifestation is your behavior and patterns and Internal Representation is your thoughts – your identity.  So, in this episode we look at your behavior because your behavior is like fingerprints, your behavior is yours and yours alone.  You’re listening to the podcast because you want change in your life and to get that you have to observe what you do because that’s a reflection of who you are. Transformational Takeaway: “Mind is the master power that mold and makes, man is mind, and evermore he takes. He thinks in secret and it comes to pass that his environment is his looking glass.” James Allen. Your environment is a reflection of your behavior and you’re behavior is a reflection of your subconscious identity. Let's Connect:  Instagram Facebook YouTube LinkedIn  LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 253: What Makes You Matter?

Ep 253: What Makes You Matter?

Start Your Transformation Now What makes you matter? What lights you up? What is special and unique about you?  Being in the personal development industry for 30 years I’ve heard tons of speakers, trainers, authors, etc. A common theme with many in my industry is to talk to their audiences and tell them “You have to find your WHY?”  They say that if you want to stay motivated, focused, and driven, you have to know why you’re doing things. I get that, but I bought that story for decades and looked for my own why. I mean, ‘Why am I in this industry, why do I help people, etc.?’  Being truthful, I could always come up with analytical reasons. You know, reasons that made sense and I thought were true but I can’t really think of any of my “whys” that set me on fire.  Many years ago, I heard Oprah say, “What makes you matter?” And that’s the basis of this episode.  Finding your why is all left brain, it’s analytical and non-emotional. And, when you find what makes you matter, that is when you wake up and come alive.  How come?  What makes you matter is emotional to you. It’s important to you. It drives you. And that’s what I talk about in this episode.  What makes you “matter” in the context of your external life and 3D ego? What makes you matter gives you meaning, and that can be motivating. Transformational Takeaway: We are on the planet for two reasons and those reasons are to grow and serve others. No one is you and no one can serve like you. When you know what makes you matter you can serve at your highest level and that brings huge fulfillment in life. Let's Connect:  Instagram Facebook YouTube LinkedIn  LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 252: Who Are You?

Ep 252: Who Are You?

Start Your Transformation Now This episode is one in a series about Identity and this is going to be a lengthy series that leads you to my world-renowned Transformational Coaching Program.  In this episode, we’re going to start diving into “Who are you?”  This episode is about your “identity” and the exploration into who you are.  The definition of IDENTITY is: The fact of being who or what a person is.  Ok, so you know the definition but does the definition get you any closer to knowing WHO you are? No, it doesn’t.  Ask yourself…Who am I? Ponder that for a few seconds. Who are you?  Like most people, you may be creating a laundry list like: “I am a male, I am white/black, I am an American, I can college educated”…etc  You are not your laundry list. You are not your labels.  Question: Are you the labels or the creator of the labels? Are you the labeled IDENTITY or the creator of the identity?  Get ready, we’re going to start deep diving into the nature of you. The nature of you is your identity and get ready to start discovering yourself at new levels.  Transformational Takeaway: My identity is anything I want as it is reflective of my thought consciousness at any given moment. Your identity is not static, it’s your fluid consciousness. You’re not a thing, you are a conscious creator. Let's Connect:  Instagram Facebook YouTube LinkedIn  LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 251: You, Me And Be in 2023

Ep 251: You, Me And Be in 2023

Start Your Transformation Now Want more in life? If so, pay special attention to the next several episodes because they are all going to be about your identity in 2023 and that’s what this episode is titled: You Me and Be in 2023.  Your identity is your learned “blueprint” that determines what you think and don’t think about all aspects of your life.  I often tell my students in my transformational coaching program, your identity is your destiny.  The truth is this…what you have in your life is a 100% reflection of your subconscious identity and most people work backward….they try to create more, better, and different things in life without ever fully realizing they must change at the identity level FIRST.  Want more in life? If so, pay special attention to the next several episodes because they are all going to be about your identity in 2023 and that’s what this episode is titled: You Me and Be in 2023.  In this week's episode, I’m going to share three things: How your self-image was indoctrinated.  Why we keep recreating your prison over and over  The foundational step to start shifting your subconscious identity.  Transformational Takeaway: You can never outperform your self-image. You cannot be what you are not. You cannot do what you are not. Want more in life? Then, be more at your subconscious level. This series can be life-changing for you, make sure you listen to them all! Let's Connect:  Instagram Facebook YouTube LinkedIn  LIKED THE EPISODE?
