Ep 274: Reaction And Change - Are You Giving Away Or Retaining Your Power?
Start Your Transformation Now Recently, I was talking to my brother-in-law, the shaman, don Xavier, yesterday. It was just a general conversation though some things came up that we have talked about before. None of it was pointed at me but we talked about a few concepts that just may be able to have an impact in your life. Two things in particular. 1) Reactivity and 2) Nothing changes. When it comes to not changing I don’t mean it in the way you may think. In the way we talked about it here, I’m sure most listeners will find it valuable and will be able to see themselves in it. In my 13-week transformation program, TCP, we spend a week on the concept of reaction. Neurologically, a reaction can be related to either a survival defense or has simply become a brain-based habit. Regardless, how often do you get yourself in trouble when you react? How often do you react and wish you could take back your reaction? How often do you react and cause fights in your relationships? No matter your reactivity, when it happens in response to someone else’s behavior, you’re out of balance. Next, we talked about what we allow to change us and I don’t mean overall, in the grand scheme of our life but I mean in the course of daily living. When we let things change us, we give our power to the external world. The bigger caveat/message here is that it’s vital that we find impeccability in our life and that is a loss of ego, letting go of attachment, letting go of past history, and balancing the higher part of us with the lower part of us. When we learn to create impeccability, the key is not to let things change us from that, no matter what happens in life. Transformational Takeaway: When we react, we change based on external circumstances and we let these circumstances pull us out of our peace of mind and balance. Start Your Transformation Now You’re going to love this episode if you’re an entrepreneur or business person. Even if you’re not, there are takeaways here for you. In this episode, I visit with my great friend, James Wedmore. James has also worked with my brother-in-law, don Xavier the Shaman, and has for about three years. And, he just created an 8-figure-per-year business as an entrepreneur. James is widely regarded as one of the most well-known online business-building experts in the world. We talk about business but not like in the last episode, we dive deep into the theme of trust, exploring its importance in business and personal relationships. We discuss our experiences with navigating through a sea of takers and toxic individuals while also striving for success. James shares his revelations about the true intentions of people surrounding him and how he learned to protect himself and maintain authenticity. This is a big lesson for a lot of people. We must be aware that there are many people in life who want to take from us and weaken us. Ep 271: Business & Spirituality with James Wedmore
Start Your Transformation Now In this episode, James Wedmore and I reveal several nuggets of pure gold as we discuss many topics from personal branding, to crafting an irresistible offer, overcoming the fear of selling, and the power of shifting identity in business. Each segment of the podcast is packed with actionable advice. However, I want to showcase one of the most profound segments here… Imagine a scene from a Marvel movie where the superhero discovers their true powers for the first time. The sheer wonder and delight of that moment ripples across their face as they discover all the things they thought were impossible are now easy for them to do. Well, in the world of business, shifting identity is like unlocking your superpowers. James Wedmore shares his own transformative experience, highlighting how changing his identity revolutionized his business journey. The secret lies in embracing the role you play and recognizing its impact on your results. You might BE the CEO, but the question is, are you BEing a CEO? If you constantly find yourself jumping on tasks that “need to get done” rather than finding talented people to own those efforts, then most likely little of your focus is on the growth of your business. Plain and simple, a CEO should be focused on leadership and growth, NOT doing data entry or figuring out what image goes best with a social media post. Success in business is about leverage. Fully assuming your role as CEO is about relinquishing control. It’s about leveraging talented people, resources, and tools to enable your business's growth. Now, whether you are a business owner or not, think about how this applies to your life. Are you constantly trying to “do it all” yourself and not reaching out when you could use help in your personal growth? In the various roles we play in our lives, mother, father, daughter, son, student, employee… heck, even pet owner. How are you showing up? Do you embrace and fully assume your role? Do you want to? Whether you’re an entrepreneur, soon-to-be entrepreneur, or happy employee, we should all ask these questions of ourselves. And if you want to learn how we answered them I can promise you that you’ll gain valuable insight listening in on my conversation with James. Transformational Takeaway: To receive success, you must BE success. Our actions are only as good as our BEing. Shift your identity to BEing that version of yourself that receives all the things you desire. From that BEing your DOing will change and become powerful. Ep 270: Encore: Money, Money, Money, with James Wedmore
Start Your Transformation Now I’m doing an encore episode on money this week because so many people, maybe even you, are struggling in this challenging economy. I talk a lot about money in different places, not because I like talking about money but because the more money you attract the better quality of life you will have and the more people you can help. This is an encore episode of me chatting with my good friend, James Wedmore. James is a world-recognized leader in the field of internet marketing and online business building. And, over the years he has helped 100s of 1000s of people around the world and attracted tens of millions of dollars back into his own life. We talked for over an hour about things that I know will be helpful to you. And, this episode is not just about money, it’s about life and service. One of the most important concepts you’ll ever hear me talk about is AYNI and we talk about it in this episode. James also works with my brother-in-law, the shaman, don Xavier. So, he also lives from AYNI and service. This concept alone can bring you anything and everything you want in life yet most of us don’t live in this place. A place of service. Candidly, I know when we “listen” to things we often do it with a distracted mind and we “half listen.” If you’re a business person or entrepreneur listening several times is a must but it’s not just about listening, it’s about absorbing the truth in this episode and executing it in your own life and business. When you do that, dramatic changes will happen very quickly in your business. Transformational Takeaway: The true essence of the game is practicing true AYNI, which is serving from an open heart. If you’re not receiving something in your life, it’s because you haven’t first given something. If you witness things vanishing from your life, that’s a reflection of yourself. Ep 269: How To Surrender and Let Go of Fear?
Start Your Transformation Now I don’t know about you but there have been times in my life where I have been sick and tired. I’ve been irritable, miserable and lost. There have been times, and it has been many years ago, but I have been very unhappy at my external circumstances. As I look back years ago, I now know that I was so unhappy because I was trying to control, force or make things happen. Many of us try to control our external world and circumstances instead of managing our internal world which directly affects our external world. Many if not most of us work backwards…. we try to work from the outside in and that’s as successful as trying to snow ski uphill… it does not work. Long ago I realized that life was so hard for me because I was trying to control things and I was not happy when things did not go the way I planned, wanted or expected. I would literally fight, curse and complain about not getting the results I wanted when I was the one creating the lack of results. One day I realized, it dawned on me… I heard someone say, “Just surrender and all that will go away.” The last thing I wanted to do in life is surrender because I thought it would make me look weak. My tenacity and stubbornness was my downfall and it brought a great deal of unhappiness into my life. I didn’t understand what it meant to surrender. And, when I finally understood the meaning of the concept of surrender my life started to change and that’s what I want to share with you in this episode. If you want more peace and joy in your life then start living from what I share with you here. Transformational Takeaway: When you surrender you let go of fear and when you let go of fear you surrender. Ponder that. Your fears, not including survival fears, are attachment driven and when we attach we try to control an outcome that is not surrender and we make ourselves miserable though our attachments. Ep 268: When will you be good enough?
Start Your Transformation Now “I’m not good enough” is one of the stories I hear more than any other. This single story alone is debilitating and toxic and I talk about how I used to feel the same and how I overcame it. The thing about being “good enough,” it has to be measured against something. There must be criteria to measure it and the truth is, there is absolutely no way to measure it. For example…if someone said, “You’re the best in the world at what you do,” there is almost no way to verify that. After all, if you are the best, then it means the “best” and it means they’d have to have an experience with every single other person in the world who does what you do to verify. It’s not possible. More than anything, we only feel not good enough when we compare ourselves to others. And, we only feel not good enough when we are judging ourselves and making value judgments about others and ourselves. In this episode I talk about how I pulled myself out of this toxic vortex and how I freed myself. More than anything, to feel good enough we MUST accept ourselves. We must accept how and what we are…whatever that is. The interesting thing is, we can only evaluate being “good enough” if we are comparing ourselves to other people and that also is not impossible as we can compare ourselves to what we can see of and about them but we cannot see what’s going on in their head and internal life. Transformational Takeaway: Being “good enough” has nothing to do with your external world. The way to be good enough is to accept yourself as you are, right now.
