Ep 278: Number 42 - The Meaning Of Life

Ep 278: Number 42 - The Meaning Of Life

Start Your Transformation Now This episode is intended to get you thinking at a higher and different level. “What's the meaning of life?” is an age-old question. In this episode, I take a different approach than most. We tend to personalize the meaning of life and make it relevant only to our experience, but it's so much more complex and bigger than that. In this episode, I talk about how the meaning of life is one we have learned to personalize and make it all about our 3D lives and commercialism. Society has conditioned us to answer the question about the meaning of life in one way, but the meaning of life is also much simpler and deeper. The Elusive Quest for Meaning – Our journey begins by acknowledging the diverse interpretations of the meaning of life. Our guests highlight the individualized nature of this existential quest, as different people perceive and define meaning in their unique ways. We explore how society often conditions us to seek meaning externally when the true source resides within ourselves. Unveiling the Inward Journey – Diving deeper into the topic, we uncover a powerful truth: the meaning of life lies within. Through an intriguing parable, we are reminded of the simplicity of being and how the incessant search for external meaning often obscures our understanding. Our guests encourage us to shift our focus inward and explore the transformative potential of introspection. The Illusion of 3D Meaning – We confront the illusion that traps many individuals throughout their lives—the fixation on superficial meanings. Our speakers shed light on how societal expectations and conditioning contribute to this illusion, limiting our growth and fulfillment. They challenge us to break free from this mindset and embrace a larger, more fulfilling meaning of life. Engaging the Soul's Perspective – Imagine conversing with your soul over a cup of coffee, asking it about the meaning of life. We invite you to ponder this intriguing question. Our guests explore the idea that living soulfully and purposefully aligns us with a higher meaning—one that transcends the mundane and connects us to a more magical, joyful, and peaceful existence. Transformational Takeaway: Remember, your purpose is simply to exist, to be alive on this planet. The meanings you assign to life shape your experiences, and by consciously choosing empowering interpretations, you can transform your reality. Embrace authenticity, let go of societal conditioning, and find joy in the present moment. Join us in living a life rich with meaning, purpose, and fulfillment. Ep 122: Five Random Thoughts To Change Your Life

Ep 122: Five Random Thoughts To Change Your Life

Start Your Transformation Now I’m taking a different format for this episode, just to mix it up a bit. Instead of a one-theme episode like I usually do I share five random thoughts and premises that I live by and ones that have changed my life. Here are the five random thoughts I expand on in this episode: [5:57] I am who I have learned to be [13:03] There is nothing in my life without my agreement [22:40] Everything always has been, is now, and will be fine [23:19] What I give myself to owns me [30:27] My life is my teacher In this episode I share how each of these life philosophies shape my life and how I live by them and how they impact my well being. I share them as food for thought and give them to you as easy “takeaways.” And, when you master them and KNOW them, they will be guiding rudders that will change your life and give you peace of mind. Transformational Takeaway: I am who I learned to be, number one. Number two, there is nothing in my life without my agreement. Number three is what I give myself to owns me. Number four, let me reverse the order here without just thinking about these allowed is everything always has been is now and will always be fine. And then the final one obviously is my life is my teacher. Ep 121: Your Self Management Skills Equal Your Life

Ep 121: Your Self Management Skills Equal Your Life

Start Your Transformation Now Did you know that… 78% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck and 37% of Americans are three months from poverty. 80% of the US population is either overweight or obese. 50% of marriages end in divorce and 70% of people are unsatisfied with their jobs. Did you know all of this and where do you fall into these categories? All of this happens to each person for one reason, poor self-management skills. Lao Tsu once said, “Mighty is he who has power over others. Mightier still is he who has power over himself.” Self-management is self-power. How strong is your self-management? Let’s use a metaphor if your life was a factory and you were the foreman of that factory, how successful would your factory be? Would it be productive? Would it be a failure? What is the productive output? It’s all about management and the quality of management and so is your life. The quality of your life is about quality self-management. In this episode, I talk about your own self-management skills and I ask you to take one area of your life and start developing your self-management skills in that area. HINT: Amazing self-management starts with well being and that is an inside job. It’s about living from the inside out and not the outside in. Transformational Takeaway: “Mighty is he who has power over others. Mightier still is he who has power over himself.” How much power over yourself do you have and have you developed? Ep 120: What Pertains To You In Life?

Ep 120: What Pertains To You In Life?

Start Your Transformation Now Do you finish your days mentally and emotionally exhausted? Does life wear you out? Do you feel like you have nothing left to give? If so, you’re probably expending way too much energy in life and expanding it on things that do not matter. Let me ask you this, what if you turned on every single light and electrical appliance in your house and you left it on for a month, what would your bill be? It would be outrageous, right? Well, metaphorically, that’s what many people do with both their mental energy….they expend all their energy akin to leaving every light in the house on and they wear themselves out. And, how do they do this, easy…they “entangle” in the energy of others and they make a great deal of what “does not pertain to them, pertain to them,” and it’s taxing. In this episode, I talk about being selective in what you make pertain to you and I talk about choosing to conserve your energy, your peace of mind, and your mental sanity. Transformational Takeaway: What pertains to you is what you make pertain to you. Ep 119: (Attention) Please “Get It” About Money

Ep 119: (Attention) Please “Get It” About Money

Start Your Transformation Now Money, money, money…it’s what 80% of my listeners struggle with and it’s the thing that’s easiest to attract, really. So, at least 80% of you can relate to my opening line and the rest are either doing “OK” or well and would like to do better. So, if money is so easy to attract then how come you’ve had such a hard time with it? Easy, I give you that answer in this episode, and no, it’s not some “pie-in-the-sky” answer. It’s practical and it will make perfect sense to you. Trust me, I know how easy it is to get lost in podcasts and episodes and books and content and this direct message will be easy for you, that’s why I titled the episode, “please get it.” Until you “get it,” you'll keep having problems. So…..listen and listen several times if you need to and this episode is the “ah-ha” as to why you may have listened to other of my episodes and you’re still struggling. Transformational Takeaway: Listen to the episode to discover it. Ep 118: Getting Over Being Liked And Seeking Approval

Ep 118: Getting Over Being Liked And Seeking Approval

Start Your Transformation Now Nothing sucks your life away like spending your days trying to be liked by everyone you meet, everyone in the office and people all around you. Without even recognizing it, many people will not engage in many things, like speaking up…because they want to be liked by others and they think if they speak up they will not be liked. The need to be liked plagues the planet at epic proportions and it’s one of the biggest things that debilitates lives. In this episode I talk about: [1:25] Why it’s so important to be liked [3:02] Why people hang onto it so dearly [9:37] Why people liking you is not about you [10:44] The illusion of being liked [20:50] No matter who you are, you’re not going to be liked by all [36:58] What it’s costing you to seek everyone’s liking And, much, much more… As you’re going to hear in this episode, no matter what you do, at least 30% of people you meet just aren’t going to like you. No matter what you do, there are some people who aren’t going to like what you do, so as you can see, trying to be liked by everyone is an illusion! How about this… Transformational Takeaway: Just be you. Those who like you will, and those who will not, will not. Ep 117: Racism And What You Can Do About It

Ep 117: Racism And What You Can Do About It

Start Your Transformation Now We are living in a time where people everywhere are taking another look at their beliefs. This is an amazing opportunity for so many to realize that you have beliefs and interpretations that come from your subconscious and that you also have the ability to change those beliefs and interpretations. We also have the opportunity to see that our individual interpretations and experience of the world are not the same as everyone else's. This week we held our first Community Roundtable within my Transformational Coaching Group. My team and I invited Black members from our TCP community to share what was on their minds and hearts and educate the whole collection as to how we can best serve humanity going forward. The intention was to educate, open hearts, and see the connectedness between all souls here on earth through hearing their voices. We feel that the best way to make a change is by changing individual lives and perceptions that have been manipulated and programmed over the last hundreds, if not thousands of years. We can not go back and erase history, however, now is the time to write our future and create massive change. Our intention in the group is to make a difference in the world. Thank you for being part of my community. Thank you for listening to my podcast and taking an interest in your own transformation and being open to looking at your own subconscious beliefs and your own interpretations and perceptions. Here are the questions that were discussed on the roundtable discussion which we turned into episode 117: What do we say, do or not say or not do so that we can be part of the solution instead of more of the problem? Is it helpful to know that other minority groups are supporting you and marching alongside you? What does it mean when young black men have the talk with their parents? Racism seems to be a learned behavior. How can we better educate or inform our children about racism so we tackle the problem at the root level? If you could give one tip of advice to a white person who truly just wants to create a better place to live. What would that be? What term do you prefer? Black? African American? Ep 116: Setting Up Altar and Morning Rituals And Intentions

Ep 116: Setting Up Altar and Morning Rituals And Intentions

Start Your Transformation Now An altar is a powerful tool to have. I’ve had one for 25 years and in this episode, I share the basics with you, how I use my altar and what I have on it. Having an altar can be as simple or as elaborate you wish, but more than anything it’s a space for you to connect with the Divine, however, you define that in your life. The great thing about an altar is that you can collect tools for your altar that help you “receive more information,” gain clarity, find direction in life or simply put…help you get what you want in life. You might think this is a bunch of nonsense or it’s crazy but even Oprah used to have an “altar” in her apartment that she visited every morning. “Altar” sounds like such a religious word, but it’s not meant that way in this context. And, I mean if Oprah had one, and probably still does, there’s probably something good about having one. Transformational Takeaway: Your altar is your conduit to connect and communicate with the universe. Ep 115: Spirituality, Business, and Prosperity

Ep 115: Spirituality, Business, and Prosperity

Start Your Transformation Now Are you one of those people who believe that money and spirituality are incompatible? Do you believe it’s OK to make money and be rich? As you know, I’m a “spiritualist” and I’ve also learned that one of the most powerful things we can do for the world is to become rich, then use that as a tool and we can better the world. In this episode, I have a guest, James Wedmore, and he’s a good friend. Not only that, but his business also attracted $9.4 million dollars last year. In this episode, we talk about Spirituality, Business, and Prosperity, and specifically, we talk about guiding principles that have helped him to become financially successful. James is very spiritual and he lets his spiritualism guide him in business. I do the same, and working from this place has been financially good for both of us. This is a candid, fun “interview” and my intention is that you see how we approach business and the rewards of prosperity and service that it brings us. You deserve to be abundant and prosperous!
