Dallas Stars GM Jim Nill is named NHL GM of the Year!

On today's episode of Locked On Stars, we go through a variety of topics today including General Manager Jim Nill adding some hardware to his resume, where I was right and where I was wrong about the Stars this season, and my thoughts on the first two games of the Stanley Cup Final. Jim Nill won the Jim Gregory Award for the the NHL's GM of the year for the second straight season. He became the second to win the award in back to back years since it's inception in 2009-10, while leading the Stars to the 2nd most points in Franchise history and making the Western Conference Final in three out of the last five seasons. In the next segment, Joey goes back to certain predictions he made before the season and finds out which ones came true and which ones flopped. Included in the wrong section was Jason Robertson having 115 points! In the final segment, Joey shares a few thoughts on the first two games in the Stanley Cup Final. Watching Florida attack Connor McDavid especially is something Dallas failed to do on every level and is a great model for how and where the Stars have to improve going into next season.
