Natalie Sudman was born in Montana and raised in Minnesota. She worked for sixteen years worked as an archaeologist in the western U.S. In 2006 was hired by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to administer construction contracts in Iraq. In 2007 a vehicle she was traveling in was hit by a roadside bomb. Her book Application of Impossible Things details her experience with that incident.About the Book: This is an amazing true story of a female civilian employee of the Army Corps of Engineers in Basrah and Nasiriyah, Iraq. She was riding in a truck with other men when a roadside bomb destroyed the vehicle. Her body was so severely damaged that there was no possible way she could live. She vividly recounts her Near Death Experience (NDE) when she went out of the body to the spirit world.There it was decided that her work on Earth was not done, and with the help of spirit guides, they repaired the body so she could reenter it. She retained the conscious memory of what happened, and more details returned during her time in the hospital. This is an amazing story of survival in wartime conditions.This has happened to many others in Iraq, but how many remember the spiritual side of the experience? Before this experience, Sudman was dubious about anything that smacked of the paranormal. This experience made her a believer. She shares her story here for the first time to demonstrate that the paranormal is normal and to assist others who have had similar experiences.This book is for anyone interested in near death experiences and out-of-body experiences. At age five, Bruce Rubin had a spiritual experience playing in a sandbox in the middle of the afternoon. The sun disappeared, and a dense night sky appeared in its place. Infinite galaxies were swirling in the vastness of his own head, and he sensed the entire universe was contained within him.He knew instantly he was one with all there was. In the years that followed, Bruce became an Oscar-winning screenwriter, a spiritual teacher, and, most recently, a photographer. Each aspect of his life has been a conscious effort to explore and reveal what he learned in that sandbox.Bruce was born in the middle of WWII and raised in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Sondra and Jimmy Rubin. He has a younger brother and sister, Gary and Marci. There was very little remarkable about him. He wanted to be an actor, writer, and director but had no talent to speak of.In 1965 he took a massive (and accidental) overdose of LSD and began a journey that lasted between 3 and 4 billion years. When he returned, he knew he would have stories to tell. He also knew he needed to find a teacher, so he hitchhiked around the world for nearly two years in search of one.After living in ashrams in India and in a Tibetan monastery in Kathmandu, he met his teacher Rudi in New York City just blocks from where he had begun his journey. Rudi taught a meditation practice that became the foundation for Bruce’s spiritual life. He has meditated every day since. Bruce’s screenwriting career began late in his life. Earlier, he had been an assistant film editor for the NBC Nightly News and Curator and Head of the Film Department at the Whitney Museum in New York. When Rudi died, Bruce gave up his museum career to continue his spiritual practice with a disciple of Rudi’s in Bloomington, Indiana.While there, he was also writing movies, twice locking himself in a hotel room and refusing to emerge without a finished script. He also began teaching meditation to an expanding community of fellow seekers and continues holding classes to this day.After 44 years of daily meditation, Bruce experienced what is referred to as a spiritual awakening. For him, it was a revelation that no one could awaken. The illusion of a separate ego dissolved and left him in a state of extraordinary emptiness and inexplicable expansion. It was a profound step in a journey that began in a sandbox and continues to this moment.Bruce continues to share his evolving experience with his students. His talks can be found on YouTube and on his site. Recently, he also discovered photography as an unexpected opportunity for communicating his spiritual vision.The result of always having an iPhone in his pocket, he describes this new phase in his creative life as the discovery of seeing. When Christian Sundberg was a young child, he remembered his existence before coming to Earth. While that memory left him completely for his early adult life, it spontaneously returned 12 years ago as Christian took up a meditation practice and went through a personal awakening journey.He also began to have Out of Body Experiences (OBEs). Some people believe that they have memories of experiences from before they were born, and there are various theories about how these memories might be formed.There is also some debate about the possible causes of pre-birth memories. Some theories suggest that these memories may be the result of the fetus being able to sense and remember events that occur during pregnancy, while others propose that they may be the result of the mother's memories being transmitted to the fetus through various means, such as through the umbilical cord or through chemical signals in the womb. Of course, there is also the spiritual component to pre-birth memories.It is worth noting that while some people claim to have vivid and detailed pre-birth memories, others only have a sense of familiarity or déjà vu when thinking about events that occurred before their birth. At the age of 56, Rob A. Gentile had a massive heart attack followed by a profound near-death experience. On his journey to a heart transplant, he was close to death again and entered the Ethereal a second time. He found himself inside a shapeless, formless vacuum of unending and infinite vastness. Having had soulful experiences since childhood, Jan Christenson has a unique way of looking through the lens of the inner self and seeing the world a bit differently than many other humans. I have changed quite a bit since my last book. I see things quite a bit differently now. What I see now is this: We are here to grow our souls, to learn and acquire many human experiences which bring us to a new level of understanding deeply at a soul level. Our soul will give us information about our unique path if we can get quiet enough inside to hear it. This understanding leads to many new discoveries; for example, when we can hear our soul speak, we can no longer struggle to find our path in life. There truly is no war inside of us; we just think there is. Once you can hear what your soul desires are, you are free in a new way. It becomes very possible to stop freaking out at the thoughts that come up in your human mind. The ego loses its power when you truly see that there is no war inside.You see, we are energy from head to toe, and energy never dies. It just changes form. So this place inside of us that is pure energy is our ever-present soul or spirit, and it is who we are in eternity. This soul or this energy that is our only true self has all of the answers to any question you could ever have. I know my soul deeply from the NDE that I had. In that experience, I learned that our soul and our energy is pure love and pure wisdom. I, quite frankly, felt more alive when I was dead than I have ever felt here in my body.So I see my challenge as learning to live here in this body, knowing of the magnificent soul within me, and learning to meld these two. To enjoy my time here on earth in any form or body, just as much as I felt that exquisite pure love when I was in pure energy, soul. Spirit or formlessness (all of these words mean the same thing).
