Surfing Lesson 205: Getting Clear To CLEAR THE BLAME

Like life, planning a surf session 🏄🏻‍♂️ to hit the window just right can be tricky... Some guys have an entire pre-surf ritual they go through from checking the surf, to changing into their wetsuit in a particular manner, to waxing their board in a special way, to even warm-up stretches and prayer and even yoga. Other guys have to arrive on scene and habitually drop a deuce first 😂 Some guys arrive at my place and need coffee first. I am one to have everything ready...just jump in the car, don my wetsuit, and jump in the water. All of these variants can lead to confusion as a frustration when trying to perfectly time the surf session to hit a particular window of opportunity Between work, breakfast, morning routines, family plans, tides, and even wind factor. And ultimately the frustration that can happen leads to an underlying blame or passive aggressiveness that leaves me on edge and out of integrity. And as our surf session stalled the other day bleeding into the rest of my plans, I once again found myself inside the perfect opportunity to start blaming others underneath the surface of a "nice face."...
