Injured? Eat Meat, You Will Run Marathons | Dr. Shawn Baker & Tyler

Tyler turned his life around during a period of severe physical and mental decline by adopting a carnivore diet and eliminating refined oils and carbs. Despite the health complications due to fast food indulgence and a work-related back injury in April 2021, he chose to adopt a healthier lifestyle over continuing a sedentary life dependent on pain medications. He altered his diet in January 2022, leading to a significant improvement in his health and mobility, and managed to lose 45 lbs in just over a month. Despite the reduction in his weightlifting strength, he has maintained his overall strength and even started running, completing two 50K trail races. Currently training for a hundred-mile race, Tyler credits his carnivore diet and regular exercise for rejuvenating his life and helping him be a better father and husband. He is eager to see how much more he can improve.
