The US Alaska pollock industry has put big money into the Genuine Alaska Pollock Producers (GAPP) program, which has taken an entirely new tack on how to position the fish -- which it now pushes under the name "Wild Alaska Pollock." It's called "marketing," and it appears to be paying off. Plus, new forecasts for whitefish harvests show healthy stocks around the world.
