When you think of the Greek Islands, do you envision white sandy beaches with fresh fish and a cold bottle of wine? While this can describe some of the Greek Islands, the Cyclades are also extremely mountainous. This can make farming very difficult, which in turn, makes grape harvesting and winemaking difficult. Many small wineries are seeing younger generations leave the islands to move to the big city, which is causing many wineries to close their doors forever. One partnership decided to change this and they started a project on Tinos island to resurrect a dying winery.
