Season 1 Ep 5: Sexual Abuse

Sexual Abuse. Welcome to Episode 5 of Season 1.

Sexual abuse is more common than we would like to believe. Be it in the bedroom by someone you know and trust or by strangers on the streets, sexual abuse can have a deep impact on the one being violated. There is shock, shame, guilt, anger and in many cases, years of silent suffering that one experiences. Acknowledgement, retribution, freedom from the pain - what does one seek as they make sense of what happened to them? How does one come to terms with it, forgive oneself and heal, if possible? How does abuse affect one's sexual life, relationships and experiences as they grow up?

Listen to Pixie, Cherry and Mojo as they share their personal stories of feeling violated, how they dealt with it and also discuss the importance of consent in relationships.
