Interview with Spanish football journalist, presenter and author Guillem Balague.

In this episode of TGU podcast host Frank Risorto sits down for a chat with author, journalist and presenter Guillem Balague (BBC5Live, CBS, LaLigaTV) who has written a book on Diego Maradona - 'Maradona. The Boy. The Rebel. The God' available now.

In this episode Guillem tells Frank about his childhood and love of storytelling through the prism of football, how he got his start working as a football journalist, moving abroad and the influence his family has had on his career.

Frank and Guillem then talk at length about Diego Maradona.

They discuss his upbringing in Argentina, his career in Italy and the affect it had on Diego, his wife Claudia and the role she played in his life, what it took for Diego to thrive and survive on and off the field, the downfall of Diego in Naples, his World Cup record and much much more.
