What a strange night!! After the euphoria of Sunday away at Stoke, the Swans under Russell Martin present a very different challenge. Superbly skippered by Matt Grimes who was previously linked with us a couple of seasons ago (in fairness who HASN'T been linked with us at some stage) the Swans were everything that we weren't in the second half - imaginative, hardworking but also quick and simple and free of the stress and anxiety that seemed to the plague the Hornets. Bilic now knows the task at hand and we discuss this and more besides - a number of first time callers 2 Paul's, Dan and Duncan make great points with three talking one after another about the importance of culture, direction and what the club means to each of us. So in Slaven Bilic's (soon to be known as Slavic according to Ellie) first game in charge we discuss a 4-0 away win at the potteries and all are quite stunned at how well, especially in the second half, we play. Some think Gaspar wasn't great in the first half, some say he was, but all agree that by the final whistle - it didn't really matter. The departure of Rob Edwards and the ownership issue is very raw with people and we will see if it remains so moving forward if Slaven's team can take this one game, and turn it into momentum for the season.
