Her Stori is back with incredible stories from amazing women for Season 2! In Season 1 we discussed vulnerable topics, and in Season 2 you'll here the guests touch on some tough topics as well. The main goal for Season 2 was to pass the mic to Black Women. If you live in the U.S. (and maybe even outside of it), you've got to be conscious of the rising awareness towards racial inequality and injustices. I say awareness because the inequality and injustices have always been there, but some people are just waking up to the realization that inequality and injustice still exist. As Malcom X said, "The most disrespected person in America is the black woman. The most unprotected person in America is the black woman. The most neglected person in America is the black woman." We have to be better in listening to other people's stories and experiences so we can learn and grow to make our communities better and our country live up to her ideals.
