Geezer Bandit

From 2009 to 2011, a bandit struck sixteen banks all over Southern California. He would walk into each bank lobby, having all the appearances of being a regular customer. Holding a leather case, he would approach the teller, and before the teller could react, he would pull a revolver from the case and silently hand the teller a note. The note would read something like "Give me $50,000 or I will murder you." Then, sometimes he would speak, giving more directions, and sometimes he wouldn’t. The amount of money he got away with is an FBI mystery, but what may be even more of a mystery is who the man was, and if he really was the “geezer” he was deemed to be.

Tom Collins (Cocktail)
2 parts gin
1 part lemon juice
½ part simple syrup
2 parts club soda
Drizzle of Maraschino cherry juice
Maraschino cherry (for garnish)

Put gin, lemon juice and simple syrup in shaker
Shake, strain over fresh ice
Top with club soda
Drizzle Maraschino cherry juice
Top with a Maraschino cherry
