House chamber of Congress passed a version of the National Defense Authorization Act recently in 2021'

The House of Representatives passed the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2022' earlier this year in September, therefore this legislation has been on the calendar for the Senate since the 18th of October 2021. From that time period until now, Senate has been editing and working on passing the NDAA, or the National Defense Authorization Act and sending it to President Biden's desk before the end of the year. At least that is the goal of this current Congress. In this episode I read some sections of this bill's text to gather and understand more clearly what this legislation would set forth in regards to our national defense policy for the Department of Defense along with the Department of Energy for Fiscal year 2022. The text of the bill I am talking about can be found on the United States Government website called Congress.gov. On this website you can find any bill, law, or piece of legislation that Congress has passed already or is in the process of editing a law and sending it through both chambers for a roll call vote before finally sending it the President's desk. All that and more in this episode of American Political Paradise. Enjoy this episode with current political information regarding legislation placed into the U.S. Senate at this current time.
