About our guest: Monika Liikamaa

Monika Liikamaa is the CEO, Co-Founder, and Chair of Nordic payment service provider
Enfuce. Enfuce is one of the leading Fintechs in Europe, with close to 10 million end-users on

She was born and raised in Haparanda, North of Sweden. As a young woman, she valued hard
work and worked as a taxi driver, a jail guard, and a library. In 1998, Monika got her first job as
a system architect at Cap Gemini. By 2006, she started her first business startup as the test
manager of S-bank. In 2012, she helped build up contactless payment. To Monika, it was
business as usual. She quit her job and decided that by 2016, she either wanted to be a CEO or
an Entrepreneur.

Today, Monika’s vision, ambition, and 20+ years of experience have transformed Nordic’s fast-
paced payment industry. With Enfuce, she enabled the integrated services for consumers in
record time.
