Episode 10: Rue McKenrick

Rue McKenrick is a professional backpacker from the USA and is the founder of the American Perimeter Trail - a trail-in-progress that circumnavigates the USA. The project is much more than a hiking trail as it is an effort to create a conservation corridor around the country. While it currently takes in existing footbeds from other trails such as the AT and the PCT, this is very much a new trail. Eoin speaks to Rue as he is taking a much needed break from actually walking the 12k+ miles to talk about his hiking career and his plans for the APT.
