BioLight Will Set the Standard in Red Light Therapy; Research: Spinal Cord Injury & Acute/Chronic Pain Relief

A couple of weeks ago on a solosode, you heard me speak about how many red light therapy companies are misrepresenting (either intentionally or not) their product's light irradiance. This has been an ongoing issue in the industry that is much more rampant that you would want to believe. On this week's solosode of The Red Light Report, I will tell you how BioLight is going to set a new standard for product transparency in the red light therapy industry.Now this is not intended to be "calling out" other companies. More accurately, BioLight wants to raise the bar for its own standards and, ultimately, see a positive shift in the red light therapy industry as a whole as a ripple effect. In the end, this would only benefit consumer.

I will also cover two exciting pieces of photobiomodulation research. This first study is the definition of "hot off the press," as it just dropped on 4/16! On top of that, it is a very compelling piece of research that looks into vascular photobiomodulation for spinal cord injury. So we get two discuss two novel topics relative to red light therapy: vascular RLT and spinal cord injuries.The second article is a review of the literature on photobiomodulation for inflammation and also acute and chronic. This goes into depth on a myriad of specific conditions related to pain (i.e., non-specific low back pain, post-surgical pain, knee osteoarthritis and much more). So it paints a great picture of just how much red light therapy can benefit pain of virtually all types.Enjoy the information in this episode.
