In fact, she uses it for training. Besides a wealth of knowledge about handling "domestic" cases, she wanted to speak with us about a case she will never forget. The domestic violence abuse suffered for years by Lisa Waldon is straight out of a horror story. It is ghastly. For that reason, this episode comes with a warning that it might be too shocking for some listeners. I promised myself long ago, I would never look away from the realities of domestic violence. But the description of this case was often a struggle for me. Besides hearing a description of the vicious cruelty one person can put upon another, you will also experience the courage a woman had to save her children and herself.
