On the 5th of June, an auditorium sat patiently waiting for Apple’s 2023 Worldwide Developer Conference. Rumours had been floating for a while that there was a new product under development. Over the past few years, Apple had been gaining patents, buying companies and hiring people in the augmented reality (AR) space. Much to the wonderment of the crowd, Tim Cook presented the first-look of the Apple Vision Pro, Apple’s AR product and first major product introduction since the Apple Watch in 2015.
