Save Jenks Lake Update 7-10-2022

Since I was a kid, I loved going to this lake. I would float tube in the biddle of the lake and catch trout, bass, catfish, and crappie. Now I bring my wife and kids out there twice a year to fish in our raft. It has been marvelous. But now the lake is in trouble and I have started a Facebook Fundraiser. The inlet of water is damaged and the lake is drying up. If something is not done this year, we will likely lose all of the bass, catfish, and crappie in the lake Contact info for emailing Jenks Lake Stories is danelle.harrison@usda.gov Now there is a fight on several fronts to get this historical landmark from drying up.
