Abuse, Addiction and Transformation w. Carl Scott and Karla Loft

The New Mind Podcast, a platform renowned for tackling critical and contemporary issues, is thrilled to announce the release of its latest episode featuring Carl Scott and Karla Loft.

This week I take an unflinching look at complex topics including sexual abuse, knife crime, addiction, and relationships.

The episode uniquely highlights the transformative work of Project Youth Official, an organisation committed to empowering young individuals.

Carl and Karla, with their profound insights and personal experiences, engage in a candid discussion that not only sheds light on the hardships faced by many, but also emphasises the power of early intervention and strength-based approaches in making a tangible difference in young lives.

About Project Youth Official:

Dedicated to the empowerment of young people between the ages of 10-18, Project Youth Official champions early intervention and the building of positive relationships between youngsters and adults in their communities. The organisation firmly believes in the philosophy of 'expert by experience', providing both professionals and young people with a deeper understanding of the realities of life on the streets and the risks of exploitation or grooming.

In addition, Project Youth offers Bleed Control Training in partnership with AED Training.

Episode Highlights:

* In-depth conversation on societal issues impacting youth

* Insights into the work and impact of Project Youth Official
