Ep. 26 | Mary Kate Richardson - Encouraging Others to Be Brave in the Small Steps

Mary Kate was born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina. She moved to the UK straight out of high school and then a year later to Mombasa, Kenya. From the age 15, she knew she would live in Kenya. There was a clear calling to this nation, but she did not know how she would get there or what all it would entail! She first moved with a team of people from the UK to plant Freedom Church Mombasa. Over the past few years, God has been shaping and growing her in different ways, all while teaching her more about the purpose and calling in her life. Currently, Mary Kate just began a pre-school in Mombasa and has realized it has definitely been one of the hardest things she has ever done, but it has also been a rewarding experience that has displayed God's faithfulness in every step of the way.

In this episode, Jenny and Mary Kate talk about the journey she has been on from South Caroline to Mombasa and how the immense amount of faith and listening to the Lord it took. They also talk about hard seasons and taking it one little step at a time. This episode is full of vulnerability and encouragement, reminding us all that life is not always easy, but we have each other. Take a listen and moxie on!
