Open Forum Friday with Yusef EL- Special Guest Nekhitem Kamenthu

Nekhitem Kamenthu started his initiation at the Brooklyn, NY Earth Center in 2006. He had an oppertunity to study and travel to Mali, Burkina Faso, and Togo with Master Naba before his passing. He is a member of the 1st graduating class of the New York initiation and is the head scribe of New York. For the past 8 years, he has lived in West Africa approximately 3 to 4 months each year furthering his studies in the traditions.Currently he is overseeing the San Diego Earth Center in a training capacity. Nekhitem is also the U.S. chair of the "Projects In Meritah" comittiee which manages the contsruction of the Earth Center's cultural preservation projects.
