Episode 34 The Importance of Parenthood

Hey guys its RJ, Unique, and Kalhil! In today's episode we're going to be discussing the Importance of Parenthood. One of the most difficult and rewarding jobs that an adult can undertake in life is Parenthood. Parenthood is role is an important one that transcends all boundaries and cultures. Traditionally, this term was associated with those who birth a child, but in today's society this has changed into something much more complex and intricate. Someone who is a parent doesn't necessarily have to share DNA with the child, but actively participates in the raising and developing of a fully functional person. From birth children rely on those to help both prepare them for, as well as aid them in navigating through the many twists and turns that life will throw their way. The importance of having a "Parent" or "Parents" be active and consistently in your life is something that can't be understated. For this episode, the cast is being joined by Anna for this conversation. She juggles the complexities of maintaining being a mom with that of being both a student and hard-working professional. Due to Anna's unique perspective, she has a unique and invaluable perspective on this topic. Our hope is that our listeners will get something from this deep, honest, and real conversation from the viewpoint of both a Licensed Professional Counselors and a Licensed Social Worker.
