Gather Round The Campfire! | Series 1 Episode 0: Introductions

On this introductory episode of the podcast, hosts Martin and Eleanor introduce themselves and explain what Three Ravens is all about.

We drop some hints about the counties and stories we will be covering during the first season, which will last up until the end of May 2023, and have a quick chat about how Shakespeare and Romantic Poetry connect to the folk tradition.

NOTE: Audio on early Three Ravens episodes is a bit sketchy. They improve from about Episode 5 onwards!

About Three Ravens 🔮

Three Ravens is a completely independent English myth and folklore podcast where we share stories, celebrate folk culture, and fall backwards through the hedgerows of history.

Hosted by real-life couple Eleanor Conlon and Martin Vaux, and mostly recorded at our home in rural Sussex in southern England, Three Ravens is rated 4.8/5 from over 500 reviews and has grown by word of mouth care of our lovely listener community ‘The Conspiracy of Ravens.’
