Eps VII: Overdue Truths

In this episode of Hide and Seek, James delves deeper into the tangled narratives surrounding Shane Barton’s disappearance by revisiting key interviews and analyzing conflicting recollections. James’s investigation takes him to the Barton property, where Rachael Barton retraces her actions on the day Shane vanished. Yet, her timeline is riddled with inconsistencies — from phone usage to the supposed last sighting of Shane in the fifth wheel.

James also interviews Shane’s son, Danner Barton, whose stoic demeanor and strained relationship with his mother add new layers to the case. Danner’s perspective on the events of March 9th raises questions about family dynamics, while his insight into the family’s access to Wi-Fi adds another piece to the puzzle.
