How to Explain BPD to Family & Friends

How to Explain BPD to Family & Friends

In this episode, I provide a quick rundown of what BPD is and some things that I think are important to talk about when friends and family are trying to understand what this diagnosis means. Of the most important aspects to this conversation, I think the main takeaways are to have more compassion and patience for those with BPD as it is a hard condition to live with and our triggers can exist in manifest in many different ways. There are a lot of negative stereotypes and ideas on the internet so I wanted to give a more clear understanding of what families, friends, and partners can do to support their loved ones who might be living with BPD. As always, feel free to reach out on my Instagram @journey.bound if you found this episode helpful, or if you have any other ideas/suggestions for future episodes. Thank you for being here in this world; you are truly loved. 🖤
