I enjoyed chatting with romance author Brittainy Cherry in this What to Read Next podcast episode. We talked about her writing journey, her latest release, "The Coldest Winter," and some book recommendations for our fellow romance lovers. Brittainy shared how she's been writing novels since she was a teenager and has always been obsessed with romance in movies and books. We took a trip down memory lane, discussing the golden age of romcoms and how they influenced our love for romance. We dove into the emotional and beautiful story of "The Coldest Winter," which follows Charlotte and Milo as they navigate a forbidden romance after a one-night stand. Brittainy also suggested other must-read books from her collection, including "Disgrace" and her Element series. When it comes to book recommendations, Brittainy is a fan of romcoms like "Blindsided " by Amy Dawson and angsty read like "A Love Letter to Whiskey" by Kandi Steiner and "Archer's Voice" by Mia Sheridan. Thanks for tuning in, and happy reading!
