Dr Jay Bhattacharya on covid controls, vaccine priority, failing our elderly & Tony Fauci's myopia

Co-author of the controversial Great Barrington Declaration, Dr Jay Bhattacharya, tells us why he still thinks focused protection is the wisest coronavirus-containment strategy and that eradicating covid-19 should not be the primary focus.

The Stanford University professor of medicine explains how we have to prepare to live with the virus for a period of time in what he describes will be a 'half-and-half world' between those vaccinated and those still waiting for their jab.

As director of Stanford's Center for the Demography and Economics of Health and Aging, he tells us that covid was a 'stress test' for how we deal with our ever-growing elderly population and that we have failed this test badly.

Speaking about the man who many in the USA regard as a hero in this pandemic, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and now also President Biden's Chief Medical Advisor, Dr Anthony Fauci, Dr Bhattacharya claims Fauci's neglect of other public health issues has been an 'abdication of responsibility'.
