158 - Her Pets

He didn't have a particular subject he wanted me to cover so I thought I'd talk about something that's been on my mind for a while now and it's women and pets. Last time I checked there are no crazy cat men that I've heard of. It seems that women are the ones that are collecting animals and hoarding them in their apartments. They find them cute and cuddly and enjoy coming home to animals instead of human beings. In fact most of the women that I've dated except for one preferred animals to human company. I'm guessing that men are utilities to most women, other women are potential competition and children are a possession. My ex used to say to me all the time that her prized cat was like her child and she would keep that cat alive as long as possible. The last two years of that's cat were filled with suffering and trauma. I wished she could have put the cat down before the situation got bad but she couldn't accept the reality that her cat was going to die until she was holding it dead in her arms. My Ex girlfriend also had a dream to own a cat ranch. She wanted to build a miniature city in some country backwater town where she could bring rescued cats to a new home. She would have them fixed so they couldn't have any more kittens and then have hundreds of cats wandering around in a park like setting in nature. And of course I would probably have to spend the rest of my days surround by cats and my crazy cat

lady girlfriend. I told her it was a bad idea because the cats would attract foxes, and other wild animals. Those Wild animals would come and eat the cats and she said that wouldn't happen. I just rolled my eyes knowing full well that those cats were going to attract all kinds of wild animals. I couldn't believe how much rational thought went out the window out of her mind when she saw a stray cat in the alleyway or when she went over to friends house and saw their animals. And she's not the only one. I know dozens of women that keep animals around and pretend that they are her children. They buy them toys, feed them treats and make the men they supposedly love suffer with those animals around. So why are women obsessed with pets?
